Spondylolisthesis is a specific type of spinal deformity where one vertebra slips forward over the vertebra below it, often leading to lower back pain, tight hamstrings, and leg pain. This spinal condition commonly occurs in the lumbar spine and is assessed based on the degree of the vertebral slippage. Symptoms of spondylolisthesis may include lower back pain and stiffness, pain, numbness, or tingling in the legs (sciatica), muscle spasms, and difficulty walking or standing for prolonged periods.
